  • Farmer
  • trained hoof trimmer
  • and developer of the Speed-Fix hoof care stand

Sepp Ametsreiter was fed up with fetching the shared tilt table from the neighbour every single time for hoof care or a follow-up treatment.

“That took at least two hours and …

… with setting up, driving the cow in, treating, washing and bringing it back, the morning was almost gone. I wanted a solution with NOTHING to prepare!!!” says the inventor, “and on top of that I didn't want to use up any space in the barn! So it had to be a solution that could be integrated into the existing barn!”

Sepp Ametsreiter explains: “I looked at the market and quite a few options, but I wasn't happy with any of the stands. I didn't like a hoof care stand for the cubicle either, because you simply have to make too many compromises — and it's not that easy to get the cow in there if she doesn't want to.”

So the resourceful farmer started designing his own solution.

His goals were:

  • No extra space needed
  • Ready to use at any time
  • One person can secure the cow alone

Sepp Ametsreiter actually designed the Speed-Fix for his own suckler cow farm. But neighbours and farmer friends saw the solution and were immediately convinced.

“That's why we went into production. Demand is overwhelming – on average we already deliver two Speed-Fix hoof care stands every day!” says Sepp Ametsreiter proudly.

More than 2,800 farms already rely on the Speed-Fix!

The Speed-Fix has grown through daily use since 2012 and is now in its tenth generation in barns all over Europe. On average, two stands leave our workshop every day.

Find your answers here.

Does the Speed-Fix fit any feed fence?

Yes! The hoof care stand is mounted directly at the feeding place with a universal-mount frame.

Feel free to send us a photo of your planned feeding place via WhatsApp.

Can I really operate the stand on my own?

Yes, that's exactly what it's built for. The cow locks herself into the feed fence, the electric winch lowers the stand, and you raise the hind legs comfortably with the electric winch too. You don't need a second person and you don't have to wait for anyone.

How long does a hoof treatment take?

From securing the cow until the feeding place is free again takes about 15 minutes (depending on the lameness) – quick, and done alongside your normal barn work. So you can treat at the first sign of lameness instead of waiting.

How much does the Speed-Fix cost?

I'll send you the price list with no obligation — simply request it below.
